About The Chef

Executive Chef, Gerassimos Moschopoulos

Chef Gerry is a dedicated purveyor of some of the finest eats in the city. Armed with a degree in philosophy and a steadfast dedication to his craft, he has brought a wealth of knowledge and creativity to our cozy East Side corner at Rupert and 1st Avenue.

Formative experiences with his family’s restaurant business in Greece allowed Gerry to hone his skills in the art of fine dining as a young boy…a practice that fully immersed him in the discipline of utilizing fresh, organic food that is sourced locally.

Chef Gerry has since forged a culinary roadmap – working and studying around the world while holding restaurant tenures in France, Italy, England and New York City.

We are proud to have such a wonderful chef who continues to lead and inspire our Poor Italian kitchen team.

Salute!
